Mentoring global turfgrass talent

It was a superintendent in Bermuda who suggested Jayson Jackson should consider studying turfgrass.

“I thought what is that?” says Jackson, a Bermudian national. “So I looked into it and two weeks later I was off to Canada for university.”

It was the start of a global journey that has taken Jackson from Bermuda to The Hong Kong Golf Club and now back to Port Royal & Ocean View Golf Courses, where he is assistant superintendent.

And his promise now is to himself mentor an upcoming Bermudian superintendent.
